COCONUT RICE
Cooking time : 2-21/2  hours

Ingredients :
Basmati Rice : 200 g
Coconut : 1
Ghee : 2 tablespoons
Water : 400g
Onion : 1 large, Sliced
Cinnamon ; 1 inch piece
Clover : 4
Bay leaf : 1
Salt and sugar to taste


Method : Grate the coconut, add 2 cups of water and grind in a liquidizer. Squeeze out the milk and keep aside. Heat the ghee in a pan and when not, add the sliced onion, bay leaf, cinnamon and clover. Saute for a minute. Clean, wash and drain the rie. Add this rice to the onion, stir until thoroughly mixed. Add enough coconut milk to cook the rice. Add sugar and salt and put it in the Surya Cooker.
